Description
Bouquet d’Ailes is a high jewelry set Boucheron presented in 2012 within L’Artisan du Rêve, the series in which the maison returns to its own archives. The set reinterprets the Point d’Interrogation — the Question Mark necklace that has been a Boucheron signature since the 1880s — through the naturalist vocabulary of the 1900s: butterfly and dragonfly wings and peacock feathers, gathered like a bouquet.
This butterfly brooch belongs to that world. The wings are pavé-set with coloured sapphires graded through violet, pink and magenta, their edges drawn in white gold and lit with pavé diamonds; a fan of tapered baguette diamonds opens across the upper wing. Two carved cabochons — one pale green, one pink — are set into the body, the pink one held in a yellow gold bezel that warms the whole composition. Crafted in 18K gold and signed Boucheron.
