Christie’s Hong Kong hosted its highly-anticipated Magnificent Jewels Spring live auction on 27 May and was honored to present a very unique ‘Cartier ‘India’ Tutti Frutti Necklace’ as one of the top highlights. The necklace was sold for HKD 67,775,000 (USD$ 8,677,240)
Presenting more than 100 lots of exceptional and rare treasures, highlights included a variety of phenomenal coloured gemstones, featuring the 8.01 carats Burmese pigeon’s blood red ruby which was sold for HKD 49,985,000 (USD$ 6,399,584)
and a Fancy Vivid Purplish-pink diamond of 2.68 carats realized for HKD 33,650,000 (USD$ 4,308,212)
