Description
This bracelet is a rare witness to the jeweller’s art of the early twentieth century. Three graduating rows of old and rose-cut diamonds, totalling ten to twelve carats, flow across the wrist in an unbroken stream. The old cut, with its broad table and deep pavilion, scatters light with a warmth and depth that modern brilliants cannot replicate.
The mount is platinum combined with white gold, with French import marks confirming both European provenance and the authenticity of the period. The strap construction, with its gently graduating central row, balances geometric precision with the fluid grace of articulated movement.
At 19.0 cm in length and 24.0 g in weight, this is an archival object preserving the spirit of the Belle Époque and early Art Deco — the era when jewellers first learned to transform platinum and diamonds into pure architecture of light.
