About the author
Writer, journalist, editor, broadcaster, and consultant Robin Swithinbank specializes in the luxury market, particularly in exquisite watches.
After starting his journalism career in 2003, he founded and served as editor of The Jackal, a luxury men’s lifestyle publication. In addition to being the contributing watch editor at Harrods, he often contributes to The New York Times, Financial Times, GQ, Esquire, Vanity Fair, and Robb Report.
He now works at the nexus of business, culture, and lifestyle, appearing on panels and podcasts as one of the most prominent international voices covering the luxury sector. He served on the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève jury in 2022. He, his wife, and their two kids reside in the United Kingdom.
